House Passes The FutureTech Act
In mid-May, the Massachusetts House of Representatives passed the $1.23 billion FutureTech Act to modernize the state’s IT infrastructure. House Speaker Ronald J. Mariano emphasized the significance of this investment in protecting against cybersecurity threats and enhancing the efficiency of state agencies. This bill, supported by anticipated federal funding, seeks to clarify state operations and improve access to vital services. The Act now moves to the Senate for consideration.
