Happy 4th! Lawn Signs & Volunteer Appreciation Cookout
Dear Friends and Volunteers,
On Saturday, June 29th, Team Scarsdale made an incredible showing at the Pepperell Fourth parade! Thanks to everyone who joined us (kids, pups, bubbles, and all!) to show their support for the Scarsdale Campaign and were part of one of my favorite events of the year.
I’ll be attending more events this week to celebrate Independence Day. Please look for me this evening at the annual Ashby Bonfire and on Monday, July 8th at Groton’s Annual Family Fireworks Festival. Stop by and say “Hi!”
Many of you have been wondering when to put out Scarsdale lawn signs. Our campaign team would like to put them out at the end of July. Kathy Pries is coordinating the effort, and we have town leads in place for distribution.
If you kept your lawn signs from 2022, please email us back letting us know 1) how many you have and 2) whether you have or need H-stakes (the metal frames that hold up the lawn signs and keep them in the ground).
If you would like a lawn sign to visibly show in your yard, please complete our volunteer interest form and select “have a lawn sign in my yard” as well as other volunteer roles you can serve— we want/need the help!
Additionally, I am delighted to invite you to a Volunteer Appreciation Cookout on Sunday, July 14, 4-6pm at the home of our Events Coordinator, Margaret Hladysz.
Please bring your families and friends to the cookout as we celebrate the spirit of volunteerism that you so beautifully embody. I look forward to personally thanking each of you and sharing in the joy of our collective achievements.
Happy 4th!
Margaret
